Coming into his second album, Suzuki has
explored many genres of music. First off, Suzuki explores territories of world
music. The beautiful vocal that comes in at "Nature and The
Civilization" brings serenity to the listener. Suzuki in this track,
incorporated African tribal drums which speaks for 'itself' brings deeper
meanings to the music. As one can hear, the drum playing the simple recurring
tune in the background that may sound like raindrops, is in fact saying
"praise God". "We make dreams" a fusion of electronic
beats, garage, and 70's disco along with a splash of Japanese taste. Listeners
can get a high from plain listening.
"Piece of The Picture" is one
of the more personal songs for Suzuki himself. It is about a very special
person to him back home in Japan. One can hear the nostalgia from the
descending chords from the relative minor of the piece of music. The tune
although hinting nostalgia is also very soothing, giving listeners a little
taste of that bittersweet he feels as well.
There are no limits to Suzuki s music, he believes that one should not be limited under any circumstances. Instead, he believes that music should be embraced on whatever comes at the spur of the moment. Suzuki emphasizes that first impression always has the best energy during either composition or even recording.
